MVP to production
Take an MVP from demo to a production-ready launch: auth, database, payments, deployment, monitoring and the boring parts that keep it up.
For: Founders with a validated prototype and a launch date.
Free, 30 minutes, no preparation needed.
What’s included
- A short PRD with acceptance criteria, so scope is agreed before code
- Auth, database schema and migrations, and access control
- Privacy by design: EU hosting and data residency, consent only where trackers need it, and data export and deletion built in
- Deployment on Vercel or AWS with preview environments
- Monitoring, logging and alerts from day one
- A launch checklist covering the things that break on day one
Scope first, then code
Every engagement starts with a short PRD: the features launch needs, each with acceptance criteria, and a clear list of what waits until after. That document is how we agree on done, and the acceptance criteria become the tests. It's the same spec-first way I built Cairn and Gerbil.
The parts demos skip
Most of the work is what keeps a product up: auth and access control, migrations you can roll back, payments with verified webhooks, error tracking, logs and alerts, backups, and a deploy pipeline with preview environments. Privacy is designed in from the schema up, with EU hosting where it matters and data export and deletion built in rather than added later.
Launch day and after
Before launch we go through a checklist of the things that break on day one, from email deliverability to rate limits. After it, monitoring tells you about problems before your users do, and the codebase is ready for your team to keep building on.
This is for a prototype people already want. If you're still finding out whether anyone does, keep building fast with your AI tools; that's the right tool for that stage.
How it works
- 01
Talk
A call about what you have, what is breaking and what has to ship.
- 02
Scope
An audit or a short spec with acceptance criteria, so we agree on done before any code.
- 03
Build
Small, reviewed pull requests against the spec, deployed to previews you can click through.
- 04
Hand over
Docs, tests and a walkthrough, so the codebase is yours, not mine.
Got a demo that needs to survive real users?
Tell me what you have and what has to ship, on a call or by email with a link to the repo or the live app. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help, and what I'd look at first.
