01 / The idea
Scout is the companion in the corner of this page. I’m building it into a retrieval-augmented chatbot grounded in my projects, notes and experience, so it can say “I don’t know” instead of making things up.
02 / What I’m building
- Ingest the site’s MDX content (projects, notes, experience), chunked and embedded into pgvector.
- A Next.js route handler streaming answers through the Vercel AI SDK, with the retrieved chunks cited back in the chat.
- Langfuse traces on every conversation, and an eval set of real visitor questions that runs before any prompt change ships.
